Ding, ding. All aboard the tram for a ride through the sites and sounds of Hong Kong. From the Western Market to Causeway Bay or North Point you can see a lot from the top deck of a tram. This shot of a newspaper vendor was taken from a trams eye view close to Causeway Bay Sports Ground. "The Paper Man" fine art print is part of my "Hong Kong - Life between the steel and glass" series. The image is available as a Black and White print (unframed) on archival quality Hahnemühle matt fine art paper in two sizes 40cm x 26.6cm and 25cm x 16.6cm. Good causes: 10% of the profit from each print sale goes to a good cause. The causes I am currently supporting are Catherine's Puppies and Best Friends Together Please note: These prints have a border to allow for easier matting/framing. As a result the total paper size will be slightly larger at: 44cm x 31.6cm and 29cm x 21.6cm Free shipping within Hong Kong.
More about good causes.
When people started asking to buy prints of my work I decided that I didn't just want to do business; I also wanted to do good. Don't get me wrong I'm no saint, I am just a regular guy. But even a regular guy can do a little bit of good and if we all do a little it will add up. To that end I decided to donate 10% of the profit from each print I sell to a variety of good causes. Current that amounts to HK50 per 40cm print and HK$20 per 25cm print.
The causes I am currently supporting are:
Catherine's Puppies (a local Sai Kung animal welfare group) https://www.facebook.com/catherinespuppies/, and
Build your Future Together (a Cambodian child welfare NGO) http://www.buildyourfuturetoday.org/home.html
